Business Development Executive – London

The company:

Fuelmii has grown rapidly over the last few years and is continuing to grow nationally. We consistently strive in revolutionising and mobilising fuel in the UK saving fleets time, money and hassle in fuelling at petrol stations. Fuelmii is currently the European leader in the mobile fuelling industry therefore our brand and credibility are imperative to us and our future success. The role:

As a Business Development and Sales Consultant, you will have a solid sales background and demonstrate measurable results in terms of bringing on board new business to the company. You will be required to work independently as well as part of a team in supporting the growth of Fuelmii. The role requires a level of maturity as you will often be dealing with decision makers. You will nurture business relationships to improve yield with our existing customer as well as seeking recommendation and business opportunities to attract new customers throughout the sales cycle and at every opportunity. The role will require a level of travel to attend meetings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct market research to identify selling possibilities and evaluate customer needs.
  • Use the research to actively and successfully business develop.
  • Actively seek out new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking and social media, recommendation through existing customers etc.
  • Map out new areas of potential and deliver the business case to support it.
  • Set up meetings with potential customers and understand their needs and wants as well as any concerns.
  • Maintain and nurture and improve current customer relationships and yield.
  • Arrange and attend meetings with potential and existing customers.
  • Prepare and deliver appropriate presentations on our products and services.
  • Create frequent reviews and reports with sales and financial data.
  • Monitor customer performance, volumes, satisfaction.
  • Participate on behalf of the company in exhibitions or conferences.

Fuel Operator – Oldham

As a Fuel Operator, you will be the face of Fuelmii, responsible for safely delivering diesel fuel directly to our customers vehicles. This role is more than just a delivery job; it’s about providing a professional, considerate service that upholds our reputation for excellence. You will be driving modern, well-maintained vehicles and working with industry-leading technology that allows you to work smart and efficiently.

Main Tasks:

  • Safely refuel multiple vehicles in bulk, ensuring accuracy and adherence to safety protocols.
  • Drive to designated locations, delivering the appropriate amount of fuel to our clients based on your schedule.
  • Operate Class 2 vehicles, carrying between 2,000 and 6,000 litres of fuel.
  • Report any incidents, near misses, or client feedback to the Transport Manager promptly.
  • Assist in maintaining vehicle cleanliness, performing routine checks, and reporting any concerns.
  • Abide by Tacho regulations and working time directive at all times.
  • Ensuring the Company values “13 Always” is adhered to and demonstrated by all.
  • Provide a professional, courteous, and reliable service that represents the best of Fuelmii.

Requirements:

  • UK Driving Licence: A full UK driving licence held for at least 5 years with no more than 6 penalty points and no major endorsements (CD, IN, DR, DD, TT99).
  • Class 2 Licence: Must hold a Class 2 (7.5T entitlement) or above and have at least 1 year of experience.
  • Valid CPC & Tachograph Card: Required.
  • ADR Licence: Desirable but not mandatory. We provide ADR training free of charge after passing probation.

Working Hours:

  • We are a 24/7 business. We operate shifts that cover Monday – Sunday however all regulation in terms of time/breaks etc must be adhered to.

Finance Manager – London

The role:

  • Working closely with the CEO and relevant team on terms of finances, including purchase, expenses, budgets and overall accounting
  • Resolve any issues that arise with the appropriate internal teams and CEO to ensure financial security
  • Strategic analysing financial performance, advising the senior management on these findings and implementing recommendations to achieve the most profitable results for the business.
  • Active involvement in the corporate finance dimension of the business inc. investors relations, equity/debt mobilisation and capital restructuring tasks
  • Delivering all financial duties accurately within the timelines and legal requirements
  • Ensure that the brand and services of Fuelmii are delivered in the best possible way to customers, suppliers and wider reach
  • Communicate with the internal teams in a collaborative and supportive manner at all times

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership in the development for the continuous evaluation of short and long-term strategic financial objectives
  • Collaborate with various departments of the company to minimise and mitigate financial risk
  • Develop, implement and monitor variances of monthly and annual budgeting system for the business; Draft and periodically adjust long term strategic financial milestones for the company
  • Provide CEO with advice on the financial implications of business activities regularly
  • Establish financial operational strategies by evaluating trends; establishing critical
    measurements; determining production, productivity, quality, and customer-service strategies; designing systems; accumulating resources; resolving problems; implementing change.
  • Develop organisation prospects by studying economic trends and revenue opportunities;
    projecting acquisition and expansion prospects; analysing organisation operations; identifying opportunities for improvement, cost reduction, and systems enhancement; accumulating capital to fund expansion
  • Work with third party to assess and develop long term tax planning strategies
  • Conduct feasibility study on capital expenditure and make recommendations to the senior team of its outcome from a financial perspective
  • Explore and implement hedging strategies with overall global fuel prices forecasts
  • Review overall remuneration, rewards and commission policy in collaboration with Human Resource
  • Manage financial aspect of company’s pension scheme
  • Setup employee equity participation and share ownership structure/ scheme
  • Assist CEO and the executive team to prepare and present board papers in regards to financial aspect of the business.
  • Prepare and circulate monthly and periodic financial and management accounts; monitors
    financial performance by measuring and analysing results; initiating corrective actions; minimising the impact of variances.
  • Coordinate and manage the annual audit process
  • Maintain efficient system of customer billing and accounts receivables, supplier payments and accounts payables
  • Maintain Fixed Asset register of the company in regards to capital expenditure, depreciation, disposal, insurance and maintenance expense
  • Manage any third parties to which accounting, finance and statutory filing functions have been outsourced; assure legal and regulatory documents are filed and monitor compliance with laws and regulations.
  • Work with ICT department to oversee accounting system implementation, maintenance and
    upgrades
    – Manage and keep up to date all insurance covers for the company
    – Maintain and review all goods and support supplier contracts
    – Manage Payroll system and prompt salary/ wages disbursements.
    – Maintain Banking and financing relationships with all fanciers
    – Manage R&D Tax Credit process
    – Establish and manage expense requisition process of the company.
    – Create and maintain relationships with service providers and contractors
  • Oversee financial aspect of fleet management in regards to lease payments, maintenance cost, fuel expense and disposal
  • Implement Cost of Goods policy with regards to stock of fuel held for resale
  • Perform risk management by analysing the organisation’s liabilities and investments
  • Decide on investment strategies by considering cash and liquidity risks
  • Control and evaluate the organisation’s fundraising plans and capital structure
  • Supervise investors’ due diligence process including maintenance of data room
  • Represent the company with the CEO with all range of investors (current and prospective) negotiations, preparation of pitch decks, Information Memorandums and draft Term Sheets.
  • Support the business through change and growth periods, coordinating corporate finance, debt, taxation, equity and acquisitions, as appropriate
  • Monitor compliance with equity and debt covenants
  • Ensure procurement processes are implemented and adhered to throughout the business

Auto Electrician / HGV Technician – London

As we continue to expand rapidly, we are seeking dedicated and experienced Auto Electrician / HGV Technician to join our dynamic team in London. Main Tasks:

  • Ensure repairs are carried out according to manufacturer’s procedures and in a safe and responsible manner.
  • Comply with warranty procedures during repairs and with warranty material on completion of a repair.
  • Ensure that all vehicle defects and associated job cards are completed in a timely manner.
  • Perform servicing, repair, and maintenance of vehicles and electrical equipment, including diagnostic and inspection duties.
  • Adhere to regulations, and technical standards, ensuring proper use of issued stores and equipment.

Diagnostics

  • Identify mechanical and electrical faults using diagnostic equipment and manual techniques, including Fuel Pumps.

Servicing & Maintenance

  • An understanding of power inverters, battery modules, fuel dispensers and electrical accessories / components essential.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, brake checks, and inspections.
  • Check and replace worn or damaged parts like, but not limited to batteries, and filters etc.

Repairs

  • Repair or replace malfunctioning parts such as engines, transmissions, suspension systems, and exhausts.

Compliance & Safety Checks

  • Ensure vehicles meet DVSA (Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency) compliance & regulations.

Key Attributes:

  • 3 years’ experience as an HGV Auto Electrician / HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic / HGV Fitter.
  • Be apprentice trained and qualified to City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3 in Heavy Vehicle Mechanics.
  • Hold a full UK driving licence.
  • Class 1 or 2 Licence desirable.
  • Multi-site and travel require.
